Established in October 2003, BRC & Ma Steel was formed as a joint venture between Ma'anshan Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Ma Steel, one of the largest iron and steel manufacturer in China and the biggest industrial enterprise in Anhui Province, dually listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange and HK Exchange) and BRC Asia Limited (listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange), with an investment of RMB 120 million.
With raw material resources from Ma Steel and more than 100 years of mesh fabrication technology and experience from BRC, BRC & Ma Steel has gained recognition as the market leader in welded mesh industry in China.
BRC & Ma Steel has imported mesh production lines and relevant facilities from Germany, Italy, Switzerland and Austria. Our yearly production capacity is 180,000 metric tons of cold-rolled ribbed wires, 20,000 metric tons of fabricated steel bars, and 180,000 metric tons of welded mesh.
As a pioneer in the welded mesh industry, we were involved in the formulation of the national and industrial standard for mesh and their applications. With excellent product quality and credit standing, we have supplied our products to hundreds of key projects nationwide.
