<span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:14px;"><strong>DESCRIPTION:</strong><br />
The combination of lincomycin injection and spectinomycin injection acts additive and in some cases synergistic. Spectinomycin acts bacteriostatic or bactericidal, depending on the dose, against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E. coli, Mycoplasma and Salmonella spp. Lincomycin acts bacteriostatic against mainly Gram-positive bacteria like Mycoplasma, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Treponema spp. Cross-resistance of lincomycin with macrolides can occur.<br />
<strong>INDICATIONS:</strong><br />
Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by lincomycin and spectinomycin sensitive micro-organisms, like Campylobacter, E. coli, Mycoplasma, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, and Treponema spp., in calves, cats, dogs, goats, poultry, sheep, swine and turkeys.<br />
<strong>CONTRAINDICATIONS</strong><br />
Hypersensitivity to lincomycin and/or spectinomycin.<br />
Administration to animals with an impaired renal and/or liver function.<br />
Concurrent administration with penicillines, cephalosporines, quinolones and cycloserine.<br />
<strong>SIDE EFFECTS:</strong><br />
Hypersensitivity reactions.<br />
Shortly after injection a slight pain, itching or diarrhoea can occur.<br />
<strong>DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:</strong><br />
For intramuscular or subcutaneous (poultry, turkeys) administration:<br />
Calves: &nbsp; &nbsp; 1 ml. per 10 kg. body weight for 4 days.<br />
Goats and sheep: 1 ml. per 10 kg. body weight for 3 days.<br />
Swine: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;1 ml. per 10 kg. body weight for 3 - 7 days. &nbsp; &nbsp;<br />
Cats and dogs: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; 1 ml. per 5 kg. body weight for 3 - 5 days, maximal 21 days.<br />
Poultry and turkeys : 0.5 ml. per 2.5 kg. body weight for 3 days.Note: not for hens producing eggs for human consumption.<br />
<strong>WITHDRAWAL TIMES:</strong><br />
- For meat:<br />
Calves, goats, sheep and swine: 14 days.<br />
Poultry and turkeys: 7 days.<br />
- For milk: 3 days.<br />
