Forged steel gate valves have three valve cap designs. The first type is a bolted valve cover. When customers have special requirements, they can also use metal rings. The second design is a welded bonnet. According to this design, the valve body is screwed to the valve cover and fully welded. When customers have special requirements, full penetration welding can also be used. The third type is a pressure self-tightening valve cover. According to this type of design, the valve body is screwed to the valve cover, and the internal pressure is sealed from the sealing ring.

  The socket welding forged steel gate valve is designed to reduce the diameter. Compared with the cast steel gate valve with the same caliber, the flow rate is slightly lower, but the pressure and temperature range to withstand is higher than the cast steel valve, and the sealing performance is much better than the cast steel gate valve. Longer life, the same medium flow direction as other gate valves.

7. Threaded end (NPT end) according to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1.
